Elisabeth Graham is a speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience in working with children and adults of all ages. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Her credentials include a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from Loyola College in Maryland and a Bachelor's Degree from Towson State University.
Elisabeth has worked in a variety of managerial settings prior to starting her own practice, including in and out patient hospital setting, speech and hearing clinic, home health, and skilled and assisted nursing facilities. She has also held many different management positions including Regional Clinical Specialist, Rehabilitation Director, Clinical Coordinator and Program Manager of several area outpatient clinics where she managed a professional staff including physical, occupational and speech therapists. Working collaboratively with other professionals afforded her the opportunity to better serve her clients.
In addition to collaborating with rehabilitation professionals, Elisabeth regularly consults with other professionals who may or may not be involved in her client’s case including neurologists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, play therapists, and developmental optometrists. This holistic, integrated approach to assessment and treatment allows for the most expeditious and successful outcomes for her clients.
Elisabeth has experience with many disorders and has seen tremendous outcomes with her clients. She especially enjoys working with individuals with Articulation/Phonological disorders, Fluency/Stuttering, Executive Function deficits, Auditory Processing difficulties, Reading challenges, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Myofunctional (Tongue Thrust) disorders, Dysarthria and Aphasia/Apraxia.
When not working, Elisabeth enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs. She also enjoys the outdoors, traveling and cooking up new recipes!
